CENTER FOR TEST – EVALUATION AND SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH FOR ARMAMENTS

The Armaments, Armored, Engineering and Topographic Scientific Research Center, was set up by the Ministry of Defense Order no. M1 / 07.01.1998, as component structure of the Military Equipment and Technology Research Agency.

After some reforms, in 2001, the center received the present denomination: Armaments Test Evaluation and Scientific Research Center.

The Center carries out competitive scientific research activities based on projects, for the benefit of the force categories. The financing source in the case of the projects included in the Sectorial Plan for research-development of MoND is represented by the MoND budget, whilst in the case of the projects gained within the Research-Development and Innovation National Plan is represented by the MECS budget.
